We are thrilled to announce the 2018-19 season of the Ed Ward Fine Arts Series! This season focuses heavily on showcasing and supporting incredibly talented local musicians; there will truly be something for everyone as our performances range from classical to jazz to broadway! All of our concerts will be at our St. Cletus home, with the last three events of the season on the stage in Father Clark Hall at the Parish Center.
However, this season also begins a period of change for us. Our first concert will be a bittersweet one for me, as it will be my last as director of this series. We will spend this season conducting a broad search for the next Artistic Director, someone who will bring the quality and vitality of this series to new heights. First, though, I will conduct "Of Music and Memories...a fine arts series retrospective". This concert will feature an outstanding chorus and orchestra featuring dear friends of the series and of mine personally; you will recognize virtually all of our treasured vocalists and musicians from over the years. I hope you will join us on October 21st for this "greatest hits" concert - it will be a glorious afternoon of music and a chance for me to musically express my gratitude and celebrate all we have accomplished over the past decade.
Serving as artistic director for the past ten years has been a privilege and a dream come true; your support has fostered the growth of this series and created a legacy that will continue for many years. Your continued generosity this year will help to endow the goals of the fine arts series; I look forward to standing alongside you as a lifelong supporter of the Ed Ward Fine Arts Series.
